Heart necklace and heart earrings polymer clay set

Of course this set is double side textured as almost every my piece of jewelry. The front side is textured with beautiful lace with flower motives, that is why I think this piece is so feminine. That special something is given by the lace. To acieve this gorgeous color I used mica powders. I will make some close up photos today to add into this blog. Hope I will make some nice pictures.
Making this set was really a pleasure.
Hope you can see a bit of color effect it is really stunning.

After I custom make earrings for my future to be sister in law I also designed a necklace to mach with earrings.
It is really simple design but I find it so elegant and delicate.
Unfortunately my husband who was taking this pictures is not so good with a camera and he didn't captured the most beautiful part of this set and that is color effect which is metallic turquoise and changing shade from light turquoise to ''chameleon'' turquoise kind of teal yellow shade.

After baking of clay every piece is hand sanded and buffed until get the nice smooth surphase and then glazes 2 times. I used antiqued silver plated 17'' long chain to complete the necklace.
Ear wire is made of copper wire and then hammered.
Time I needed to complete this set is 4 hours.
It is beautiful summer jewelry set that you can easily match with every outfit! Once I have all pictures ready I will put it in my store and I will make a few in other colors. Probably white and brown.

Polymer clay necklace and ring roses

Let me say a few word about how I made this piece.
This necklace has two layers the front and the back. This is front side which I textured with little leaves. I found that it is excellent idea because it seams that roses lay on the grass, seems so natural.
Once clay was backed I colored it to give those leafs 3 dimensional look.
The back side is another color it is copper and similar to color of the roses from the back side. It is textured too but with bigger leaves.

Roses were made out of polymer clay, color is copper, red vine, burgundy...
I spread some copper powder over the petals to give them shiny and kind of wet look.

This piece is sanded, buffed and then glazed with shine glaze 2 times to get wonderful shiny look.
Time I needed to complete this set is 5 hours.

Faux leather Polymer clay necklace and earrings
Today I just want to write a few word about this piece. I enjoyed so much designing it. It is absolutely one of my favorite works. It took me a lot of time but in the end it came out perfect.

This technique of making faux leather out of polymer clay is one that I enjoy the most because when is finished, you can really exchange it for leather. It is all hand textured with diferent tipes of vintage lace and flower motives. I used copper chain, ear wire I made from copper wire previously hammered.

I kind of adore to put different texture on the back side of my pieces because I think that is more interesting that leaving it blank.
Back side of this piece is snake skin textured and at mine opinion it matches perfectly.
Measurement:
Necklace is 17’’ long.
Pendant: 3 3/4” Tall x 3 1/4” Wide
Earrings: Total: 3 1/4” Tall x 1 1/2” Wide. Ear wire is 1 1/2” long handmade and hammered copper wire.
Color is also gorgeous, brown like burnt Sienna, Terra cotta. Color might slightly vary due to your screen color.
This piece is very light weight.
